To start selling on Gumroad from South Africa, you need a few things in place.

Gumroad Account

Sign up at gumroad.com. Free. No approval process—you can list products immediately.

Payment Method

Connect PayPal or Payoneer in Payout Settings. Gumroad pays to either. Payoneer links to your SA bank for ZAR withdrawal. PayPal also supports SA bank withdrawal.

Digital Product

Something you can deliver as a file or link: PDF, video, template, course, software. No physical goods. Gumroad handles delivery automatically.

Audience or Marketing

Gumroad doesn't drive traffic. You need an audience—social media, email list, blog, or paid ads—to promote your product.
